Laundry Service

Don’t worry about packing too many clothes! We offer daily (excluding Sundays) laundry service to ensure you have fresh attire throughout your stay.

Sun Protection

For hunts during February, March, April, September, and October, sunblock is essential to protect your skin from the African sun.

Beverages

Enjoy complimentary wine, beer, and soft drinks during your stay. For other preferences such as whisky, brandy, or vodka, please purchase at the airport or ask your Professional Hunter (PH) to stop at a local store en route to the camp.

Wi-Fi Availability

Wi-Fi is available at select camps, subject to cell signal quality.

Electrical Power

Our electrical power is AC 220V 50Hz. Plug adapters are provided in camp. Please ensure your equipment is compatible with 220V or bring a converter.

Health Recommendations

No vaccinations are required to enter South Africa.

Payment Details

For specials and packages, a $2 000 deposit is required within 14 days to reserve your booking. The outstanding amount is payable in cash or via wire transfer. No payments are required if the hunt was bought at donation auctions.

Taxidermy Services

Our local taxidermist, Colletts Wildlife Artistry (https://collettswildlifeartistry.com), handles raw preparation for trophy export and offers mounting services. If you prefer trophies to be completed in the US, please provide taxidermy details.

Gratuities (Tips) Guidelines

Cash gratuities are customary and appreciated for staff members:

  • Professional Hunter (PH): $100 – $150/day per client
  • Day Trip Guide: $20 – $25
  • Tracker: Approximately $25 per day
  • Chef: $20 – $25 per day
  • Lodge Staff: $8 – $10 per day
  • Skinner: Approximately $15 per day

Special Permits (Tags)

For animals listed with CITES (such as Roans, Crocodiles, Lions, Baboons, Monkeys, small cats, etc.), we need to apply for special permits (tags) at least 2 weeks prior to your arrival in South Africa. Please provide a copy of your passport with the request.

Clown of the plain these wildebeest with the white tails and mane form herds with a dominant male and bachelor herds. They graze on the open grass land.
